Join us for a Master Class featuring Dumbo Wellness’ massage therapist Siobhan Towey LMT and Dr. SooHee Straub of Moxie Acupuncture. Explore partner massage and self-care to support our bodies in the transitional season of Autumn. Learn simple ways to give your partner a decent massage that will not hurt your hands, using meridians (energy lines) and points from Traditional Chinese Medicine, myofascial release, and select reflexology and acupressure points. Work with common aches and grievances that get more challenging as we move into the cooler months: sore shoulders, lower back pain, GI trouble. Bring your partner or friend to practice these techniques. Join us to balance your body through the autumn transition with partner massage and self care! Loose fitting or comfortable clothing is recommended.
