Sound has been used for its therapeutic qualities for centuries. Participants will be guided through an experience of pranayama, vibration, visualization, and vocalization to prepare for deep listening. You will be encouraged to find a comfortable position, and with eyes closed, take in the sounds emitted from instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, varying chimes and bells, drums, etc. These instruments, intentionally sequenced, create a safe space for participants to enter a meditative state to down-regulate the nervous system and create a sense of ease and clarity.

Anna Haddad is a yoga + meditation teacher, Pilates instructor, sound practitioner, global retreat leader, and the Founder + CEO of ONEYOGAHOUSE, a New York-based yoga, Pilates, and sound meditation studio with locations in Brooklyn and pop ups in Montauk. She became a student of yoga when she found the practice as a complement to her black belt training in taekwon-do (she received her second-degree black belt in 2004).
Yoga quickly became the one thing in her life that allowed her to tune in instead of out: at the time, she was working a demanding job in finance. Led by her intuition to open her heart and awareness, she left her career on Wall Street and completed her teacher training in 2012. Always drawn to entrepreneurship, Anna co-founded a grassroots activewear company in 2014, followed by a yoga studio in Montauk in 2017. Now, her vision for ONEYOGAHOUSE (in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn) is to create a business rooted in community, creativity, and connectivity, and to leave a lasting and positive impact on people’s lives. She is passionate about giving back: she loves connecting with students, community-based organizations, and female-owned businesses. She aims to make yoga accessible and a lifelong practice for everyone in the ONEYOGAHOUSE community.
Anna has completed well over 1,500 hours of teacher trainings and mentorships in yoga, Pilates, meditation, and sound meditation facilitation, with Katonah Yoga, Lyt Yoga, Maya Yoga, Savitri Yoga Shal / Yogi Charu, Woom Center, David Shemesh, Yoga Vida, and Pure Yoga, and continues her studies and trainings in functional anatomy and meditation. She is a lululemon and Sakara Life Ambassador.
Anna’s yoga classes are thoughtfully sequenced with intention setting, breath work, joint mobility, lymph work, and anatomy-based teachings to gently open the body in preparation for meditation. She teaches an alignment-focused practice that is intentional and grounding. With over a decade of experience as a yoga instructor and business owner, she has discovered a calm, resilient, and conscious state of mind that is still and compassionate, and she is inspired to guide others to reach higher inner states of joy, peace, and consciousness.
A lifelong athlete, she has trained for and completed multiple marathons and triathlons, and numerous half marathons. She took up surfing as a hobby and has surfed the waves of Costa Rica, Hawaii, El Salvador, Nicaragua, California, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, and Montauk.
Anna leads yoga retreats and workshops around the world, combining her love for travel with teaching movement and meditation. She teaches a wide range of corporate and wellness retreats and private group sessions. Follow her @‌annahaddadyoga and @‌oneyogahouse.

Milagros is a NYC-based yoga guide, sound facilitator, and reiki practitioner. She’s deeply grateful to have had the teachings and continual guidance of devoted teachers such as Francesca Bove, David Shemesh, Elian Zach, Alexandre Tannous, and many more who have influenced and inspired her path. It’s Milagros’s belief that every being desires to be in a state of harmony and peace, and through the cultivation of practices like mindful movement, meditation, and breath, we allow the inner intelligence of our biodynamic systems to re-attune to our natural radiance and genius. Over the years these essential tools and practices have acted as a powerful guide or roadmap back to center. Each time imparting insight, growth, and wisdom, learning to navigate life’s ebbs and flows with ease and grace. It is her wish to inspire, reinvigorate, and empower students with her experiences; challenging them to play and invoke their child-like curiosity in an intelligent, creative, and carefully curated space. Students will leave her experiences with the functional tools to weave and co-create in the dance of life.
