Agatha is an Australian, New York-based vinyasa yoga teacher. Growing up with a yoga teacher as a mother, yoga has always been a constant in her life. As life became busier and more demanding, it evolved from a family tradition into an essential practice for finding inner peace, grounding, and coming home to herself.

Driven by a passion to help others experience that same sense of connection in an often fast-paced world, Agatha completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at ONEYOGAHOUSE in Brooklyn.
Her classes are thoughtfully designed as a journey of expansion, self-discovery, and growth. Through wave-like sequences that rise and fall with the breath, students are invited to build heat, cultivate strength, embrace challenge, and soften into moments of grounding and release. Rooted in mindful vinyasa, her teaching emphasizes joint alignment, intentional movement, and conscious breathwork, encouraging students to move with awareness and confidence. She hopes each student leaves class feeling lighter, more open in both body and mind, deeply connected to their breath, and having found a moment of inner peace to carry into the rest of their day.
Off the mat, you’ll usually find Agatha biking around New York—rain, hail, or (preferably) shine. An avid foodie, she’s always on the hunt for a new neighbourhood restaurant or enjoying a chocolate croissant and good coffee while getting lost in her latest book, whether in the park or curled up at home. Her greatest joys are meaningful conversations with loved ones, long walks or saunas with friends, and spending time by the ocean. With a deep love for the sea, she’s always dreaming about her next scuba dive or coastal adventure.
Questions. Answers.
What makes a house a home?
Home is where the heart is. Surrounded by your core people who allow you to be your most authentic self, a space where you feel connected, recharged, and at peace.
Best advice you've ever been given?
“Waste no more time arguing what a good person should be. Be one.” — Marcus Aurelius.
Marcus Aurelius’s stoicism was introduced to me by my brother Xavier who lives and breathes this reminder to be the best person you can be in every moment. Focus on what we can control: our own character, thoughts and actions rather than judging others or seeking external validation, leading with kindness, humility, self-discipline, and purpose.
What about teaching inspires you?
What inspires me most about teaching is creating a space where people can find a moment of inner peace, reconnect with themselves, and step away from the noise of everyday life. I love sharing the joy and energy of how yoga has impacted my own life, while guiding students through movement and breath to feel more present, grounded, and connected within their bodies. Seeing students leave class feeling lighter, more peaceful, and more open than when they arrived is what makes teaching so rewarding.
Go-to grounding pose?
Malasana or Pigeon Pose. Both poses help me feel grounded while bringing my focus inward through the breath. I love the balance of expansion and release, opening through the hips, creating space in the body, and softening simultaneously. I could sit in these poses forever!
