Our Classes
Expect a dynamic, Iyengar-inspired Vinyasa flow experience that is intentional, fun, and guided by the rhythm of the breath.
We ease you into the practice, allowing time for your body to adapt to movement and the temperature of the room. No class is exactly the same because no teacher is exactly the same, but our house style utilizes the breath, focuses on precise alignment, and incorporates yogic gaze (an action called drishti in Sanskrit) to create a modern yoga experience grounded in tradition. Flow with us, at a temperature that’s right for you.
The Fiery ONE:
Vinyasa Flow
Brooklyn. 65 & 75 min.
A dynamic, Iyengar, Ashtanga, or Katonah-inspired Vinyasa flow experience that is intentional, fun, and guided by the rhythm of the breath. *This open-level class is powered by radiant infrared panels and an air purification system that minimizes airborne dust, pollen, and germs to create a draft-free, odorless, natural, energy-conserving heat. Expect lots of movement with a focus on alignment, with functional exercises towards gaining optimal movement patterns.
The Foundational ONE
Brooklyn. 65 min.
Our Foundational class is a great place to start, or reset your yoga journey, by breaking down the fundamentals of yoga and the key asanas (postures) of the vinyasa yoga practice. Designed for both beginners of yoga who have never taken a yoga class but curious to start, as well as practitioners who have some knowledge of the practice but would like to gain additional tools and insights to renew, reassess, and strengthen your foundation.
The Inflexible ONE
Brooklyn. 65 min.
This class is designed for both the athletes up against tightness who wish to build improved stability, balance, and flexibility, as well as those who are experiencing limitations due to restricted range of motion and physical conditions or injuries. We will work to gain mobility, increase range of motion, stretch connective tissue to reduce pain, nourish muscles and nerves, and keep the body and mind vital and strong. Great for beginners and students of all capabilities.
The Aligned ONE
Brooklyn. 65 Min.
Similar to The Fiery ONE, expect an open-level, room temperature Vinyasa class woven with elements of Iyengar, Ashtanga, or Katonah Yoga. These classes are intelligently sequenced at a slower, sweeter pace to ease you into the practice, allowing time for your body to adapt to movement. You are sure to break a sweat by building heat from within.
The Restored ONE
Brooklyn. 65 min.
A chance to slow down and restore. Yin + Restorative yoga incorporates props to support you in passively held postures for a sustained period of time. This practice helps to lengthen connective tissue and fascia throughout the body to enhance range of motion in joints and regulate the nervous system to support emotional and physical recovery. Suitable for all levels. Benefits include deep relaxation, improved sleep and digestion, and faster muscle recovery.
The Still ONE: Sound Meditation + Breathwork
Brooklyn. 90 min.
Sound has been used for its therapeutic qualities for centuries. This powerful medium is known to inspire a change in state and self-reflection. Participants are encouraged to find a comfortable position, and with eyes closed, take in the sounds emitted from instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, varying chimes and bells, drums, etc. These instruments, intentionally sequenced, create a safe space for participants to enter a meditative state. The goals of these experiences are to assist in focus, down-regulate the nervous system, create a sense of ease and clarity, and promote positive cognitive states and habits.
The Studious ONE: Master Class
Brooklyn. 90 min.
Taught by Senior Teachers, a Master Class is an opportunity to penetrate deeper into your practice through an extended study of the asanas that incorporates more advanced postures, yoga philosophy, and/or anatomical education. For teachers and students of yoga with a strong or intermediate level of practice.
The Communal ONE:
Community Class
Brooklyn. 60 min.
Taught by more recent teacher training graduates who are completing a mentorship or work study at ONEYOGAHOUSE. A Community Class costs only $20 to drop in, giving you an opportunity to support our newest teachers.
The ENDURING ONE
(yoga for runners)
Brooklyn. 75 min.
It’s true what they say – Yoga is the perfect cross-training tool for runners. The Enduring ONE is a dynamic, vinyasa flow specifically tailored for runners to improve mobility, range of motion, flexibility, and stability. This open-level class is a great complement to your weekend long runs and speed drills by focusing on stabilizing muscles of the core, hips, and spine. We will keep static poses to a minimum, nourish connective tissues and joints to reduce risk of injury, and incorporate breathwork to achieve mental focus and breathing efficiency so that you can feel strong, energized, and confident up and through race day.
The Expecting ONE: Prenatal
Brooklyn. 60 min.
Designed and taught by Revolution Motherhood’s founder and pre/postnatal fitness expert, Rachel Welch, this 4-week program will guide you through breath-based core strength and stability exercises integrating yoga, long muscle sculpting, soft foam rolling, and meditation. Establish the essential knowledge and practices that will set you up for your postpartum recovery and keep you in relationship with your changing body throughout your pregnancy. Enjoy meeting other expecting mamas, sweating, breathing, and laughing together. All trimesters are welcome.

Reviews from you
From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of warmth and welcoming. The classes are challenging but fun; the sequencing is creative, and at the same time, it just makes sense and feels so right in my body. I learned a lot and appreciate the individual time and attention. I felt really happy all weekend long, like the best version of myself.
Anna [ONEYOGAHOUSE founder], is the most wonderful and caring yoga instructor. She approaches each session with genuine warmth, wisdom and happiness, and creates a safe space that is full of love and light. She gives so much personal attention and encourages me to test my limits and go deeper and deeper into my practice. Anna is always smiling and radiating love and I leave class feeling open, spiritually engaged, inspired and full of life.
The studio is fantastic --the soft colors, billowing curtains, and overall aura immediately set the right tone. All of the teachers have their own style, and I especially love the attitude and energy they each bring to the experience
...the teachers are also warm and welcoming, and regardless of your level you will walk away feeling renewed, challenged, and happy. OYH is such a beautiful and natural extension of this community.
Our Teachers
Every teacher has a unique voice that creates a unique practice. Underlying these individual styles are some serious roots, though. Our teachers utilize source material from established lineages and traditions
