Heather brings 10+ years of personal yoga experience and her recent 200-hour YTT certification to her vinyasa classes with one goal in mind: helping you arrive.

She believes your time on the mat is what makes everything else possible: the presence, the capacity to show up and flourish. Her classes are designed to soften strong bodies and busy minds, so you leave feeling grounded and fully present in every part of your life after class.
Heather came to yoga the way many do, searching for something to balance the pace of everyday life and found that the mat kept giving her more than she expected guided by her favorite instructors Katie B, Randi Lattimore, and Brett Richardson. As a woman in her 30s navigating strength for longevity and chasing her first full marathon, she understands what it means to ask a lot of your body and mind. Yoga has been a thread that holds it all together, the recovery, the focus, and the ability to keep going. That personal journey is woven into every class. Her vinyasa style is dynamic yet intentional, flowing enough to challenge you and spacious enough to let you breathe. Expect thoughtful sequencing, music that moves you, and a teacher who sees you exactly where you are.
Questions. Answers.
What is your favorite Brooklyn hangout spot?
In the summer I am always at the Pier either walking, reading, or grabbing ice cream. In the winter, I love Ferrane Bakery with a good book and the almond croissant.
What are you most passionate about outside of yoga?
New experiences! I love to travel, try new restaurants, museums, shows or a fun activity like an art class or cook class. Life is meant to be well lived and I’m passionate about creating and finding those moments in a city that offers us so much.
When have you felt the most proud?
Doing the hard things. Running my first NYC half marathon, going back to school many years later while still working full-time, and moving to NYC recently. I’ve felt most proud in moments like this where I didn’t know exactly how it would turn out, but trusted myself to figure it out (still am!).
What about teaching inspires you?
I love that every class is both completely individual and collective at the same time. Every person on their mat is navigating their own story, their own body, and their own day and somehow we’re all breathing and moving together. Being inspired by the experienced person next to you, and supporting someone’s very first class. That, to me, is what community looks like at its best.
