Holly began practicing yoga over 10 years ago as a healthy outlet to decompress, and she has returned to the practice in one form or another ever since. A runner and a yogi, Holly uses movement to process thoughts and emotions, experience joy, and cultivate a sense of agency.

Yoga has meant different things at different times in her life, which is what she loves about the practice. It’s been a way to build strength and flexibility, become in tune with her breath, learn to sit with herself, and generally understand her body better. Holly leaves every practice feeling just a little different and is grateful that yoga offers the reliability and variety to keep coming back.
The opportunity to help students reconnect with their bodies, explore the power of their breath, and discover a greater sense of ease in their daily lives is what inspires her the most about teaching yoga.
In class, Holly seeks to create this experience for her students with challenging, yet accessible sequences and space to explore the physical experience. Holly is based in Brooklyn, and received her 200-hr RYT from Yoga Vida.
