Stephanie first discovered yoga on a blind date during her first year living in New York City, in 2012. While no second date commenced, she recognized that this powerful practice was something she felt drawn to explore further, and a force that helped her cope with her stressful day job as well as her body image. On the yoga mat, Stephanie felt connected, inspired, strong and embodied, and she wanted to spend as much time practicing as she possibly could.

As the years progressed, what had initially been a hobby turned into a way of living, and Stephanie knew that she needed to explore yoga as a career path. She decided to enroll in a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Pure Yoga, under the tutelage of Kay Kay Clivio, Adam Vitolo, and Yogi Charu. She went on to complete mentorships with Kiley Holliday and Brittany Anderson, and is now studying yoga therapy under Dana Slamp.
Stephanie’s greatest goal as a yoga teacher is to give her students an experience that allows them to feel spiritually connected, emotionally inspired, physically challenged, and overall, to grow and evolve.
She believes firmly that “the way you do anything is the way you do everything”, and so, the way we practice our yoga asana matters a great deal. In Stephanie’s classes, students will explore unique transitions, advanced postures, fundamental alignment, mind and body connection, and yoga philosophy. Expect to develop strength, resiliency, self-trust, and maybe even a sense of humor!
