    La Guardia Hotel

La Guardia hotel, on the enchanting Tuscan isle of Giglio, is a stand-out amid waters with the clarity and colour of tourmaline to topaz, mighty prows of granite rock, and ascendant clusters of Mediterranean greenery, simply by fitting in so seamlessly. Parts of the hotel are carved into a granite cave above the Tyrrhenian, and a design team that hails from Greece, Italy and Uruguay – using covetable and custom furnishings from the likes of Ethimo, concrete flooring and local handicrafts – have understood that there’s no competing with the view. So, they’ve used a subtle palette and unique minimalist look to overtly state ‘Look, out there!’. And, when you’re not attending to aperitivi on the terrace or awakening your kundalini energy, you will be out, basking on warm sands or biking to fertile vineyards.

    YOUR HOST: ANNA HADDAD

Anna Haddad is the founder of ONEYOGAHOUSE, a Brooklyn-based studio offering yoga, Pilates, and sound meditation, complemented by seasonal, multidisciplinary pop-ups in the Hamptons.

A former Wall Street professional and second-degree black belt, Anna turned to yoga during a high-intensity chapter in finance. By 2012, she had moved into a career wholly rooted in movement, mindfulness, and community.

Her approach is grounded in functional anatomy and continuous study, blending breathwork, mobility, and somatic awareness. Classes are alignment-focused yet fluid: anchored in tradition, shaped by
    curiosity.

Anna teaches from experience. She’s a lifelong athlete who now moves intentionally. A founder who prioritizes integrity over scale. A teacher who builds spaces for transformation that aren’t about fixing yourself—they’re about remembering who you are.

Through ONEYOGAHOUSE, she creates experiences that meet people where they are—whether in studio, on retreat, or through collaborations with like-minded, women-led brands.

    YOUR HOST: Rebecca Hajek

ebecca Hajek is a New Yorker recently transplanted to Lisbon, Portugal who has been studying yoga and meditation for over 25 years. She was a former opera singer who got her Masters in Music at SUNY Purchase and accredits the discipline and understanding of subtlety in her practice to her years of strict training. She followed her love of yoga out of the opera world and into her 200hr training over 15 years ago in NYC and discovered her life’s purpose. Eager to soak up the vast wealth of yogic wisdom in NYC Rebecca explored Ashtanga, Iyengar, Forrest, Hatha, Kundalini, Katonah, Dharma and Bhakti yoga which allowed her to deepen her practice and refine her distinctive style of teaching.

Her 500hr Advanced Teacher Training (ERYT) was completed with her long time mentor Yogi Charu of Saraswati lineage in Hatha yoga and Tantric meditation in 2015. She has since delved more deeply into Bhakti yoga – the yoga of devotion, and studying yoga philosophy through the Vedic texts and mantra with her teachers Raghunath Cappo, Kausthuba Das and Radhanath Swami.

Dedicated to the yogic path, Rebecca will always consider herself a student first, and a teacher second. In addition to teaching online and in person with group classes and privates, Rebecca leads kirtans, workshops, teacher trainings, and yoga retreats around the globe.
